1. Provides technical direction and guidance to supplier
2. Has a strong working knowledge of quality and reliability concepts, supplier management, with respect to quality and reliability, and general manufacturing operations business management relative to all functional groups. Capable of managing any commodity
3. Interfaces with other Apple functional groups as resources to optimize suppliers quality programs
4. Participates in the development and implementation of Product Quality Plan (PQP) for specific commodities with SQE's at other sites
5. Assesses supplier's production and quality programs
6. Evaluates the supplier processes and process controls to ensure product quality and reliability is built in. Develops supplier capability (including necessary training), establishes proper reporting of in-process and final inspection and test results to Apple
7. Establishes discovery audit procedures and ensures performance to standards by Apple test personnel. Responsible for Cpk process
8.Monitors each supplier’s performances through measurements of production line statistics, company inspections management so that effective corrective action plans can be sett in place if necessary
9.Works as a part of a New Products introduction team draw up and/or coordinate and implement the PQP for the site. In conjunction with the design engineers and the site engineers, determine the process goals for products.
10.Participates in yield improvement efforts.
11.Responsible for specific tasks as park of a team involved in the introduction of new products or processes.
12.Provides full support to an assigned area of production/service
13.May direct the activities of other engineers and technicians on specific tasks

Maurice was established in 1923 by our founder, Maurice Olshansky, as a Sporting Goods outlet in downtown Chicago. Our first expansion was to Atlanta in 1973, followed by Dallas in 1976, Harrisburg in 1988, Reno in 1991, and Toronto in 1994. We were the first distributors in the country to computerize. We were also the first to make extensive use of Planograms, to pre-ticket, and to provide regional satellite warehouses.
